Should Student Take Private Tuition?

Private tuition is a trend that is very popular in education today. The survey of Youth’s newspaper has shown that eighty percent of student in Ho Chi Minh city taking private tuition after main course at school. Should student take a private tuition? Some people think it is good, others have oposite thought. As a student, I absolutely agree that student need not take private tuition because it will cause some bad study habits and take a lot of time.
Tuition may lead to pampering and may kill the self effort of the student. First, they do not pay attention to the instruction of teacher in class. They will have a “could not be bothered” attitude thinking that their tutors will cover the lessons for them later. In addition, they will not touch the books if the tutor does not turn up.They just study without any effort because they think all things are prepared and done by their tutors. Why do not they realize that the success in studying is meaningful when they try their best to gain the knowledge? Moreover, when teacher give them homework, they will do nothing until their tutors instruct them. So they become dependent on their tutors. Most importantly, the laziness and dependence do not help student learn well and even make result go down. When I was a high school student, I saw many friends taking private tuition, but I did not see them expectantly doing well in tests and examinations. Thus, private tuition may make students become the passive learners.
Private tuition may take a lot of time of students. When students have private tuition, they are always in a hurry. After tiring time at school, they have to spend extra time to catch the process of tution. They just study and study. They are so busy that they do heve no time to relax and do other activities. The science has proved that if human do a lot of things without having rest, he will not work effectively. Students spend time on tuition will be lack of time that is very harmful. The lack of time to relax will lead to some health problems such as trouble with mental or stress. Most importantly, private tuition will take much time for students to prepare the lesson before going to school.The time that we spend on tuition can easily be spent for other more constructive things than having to repeat a lesson. So the private tution will lead to some troubles about time to students.
Some people think that private tuition is good because it helps students learn effectively. When having a tutor, students will be helped to solve the problems quickly. However, the help of tutors may make students become lazy and dependent. They do not have effort to solve the problems by themselves because they think they solve the problem very slowly. I think the self effort to solve troubles is really important that will help student be really excellent. Private tuition is necessary if student is weak in certain subject. I myself see that who does not take private tuition does not feel disadvantaged or less capable than those who do. Thus, private tuition is not a only way to gain the knowledge.
In conclusion, private tuition is not the best way to get good result because student will encounter with some problems about time and study motivation. Moreover, the teachers in school are always there to help if we bother to ask them, so we need not spend time for what we are studying in school.

Is Children Behavior Better Than It Was Years Ago?

Children behavior is one of the hottest issues that is dicussing in many forums on Internet today. In recent years, we always hear about bad attitude of children in public places and school. With the trend of society development, children today is cared by their family sufficiently. Because they have good life condition, they do not worry about material any longer. They only concentrate on studying, but they also become spoilt if their parents do not concern a lot. I think children behavior is not better than it was years ago.
Children behavior today is violent. Advances in technology and the transformation of the education system make children spoiled. For example, children is easy to contact with game online, so they learn and imitate with a lot of violent actions. Although Internet helps children very much in studying, it is also harmful to children behavior. In recent years, the rate of children behavior is more and more increased. They are willing to kill anyone who wounds their self-esteem. Moreover, there are not as many rules and parents are not strict as they used to be. Children think they can do whatever they want, and they do not obey their parents. They can tell lie to gather with their friends to hit each other. They are willing to use fist to solve problems without thinking about consequences. I used to hear about a crime that was caused by a 16 year olds student in Dong Nai last month. Because of small conflict with friend, he used a knife to kill his friend at classroom. That stab made his friend die immediately. This is one of violences that causes by children. We must admit that children today are very active. However, they also imitate quickly with something wrong.
Children have more bad habits than it was years ago. One of bad habits of children today is using bad language. They can speak whenever they want, and they do not pay attention to the feeling of other people. Not only do they speak with profanities, they also have bad actions with any people. For instance, when someone bump them by accident, they will lash out contantly. In addition, early smoking and drinking are bad habits of childrent today. We can not find a teenage without smoking and drinking. Because of lack discipline of their family, they can spend time on wasteful things. They do not focus on studying. We can not deny that children study very well. However, this is in some special cases. Children will learn bad things if they are not instructed by parents.
Some people may think that children behavior is better than it was years ago. They receive a lot of achievement in many fields, so they will broaden knowledge and have good relationship with other people. With the development of life condition, they can be cared by their parents, and they also give parents’ education. However, the rate of children is given the full care of parents is very low. Their parents just support money for their children and do not worry about studying or problems of their children. The lack of love of their parents also spoils children. Parents do not spend enough time to talk and help children with solving problems. Nowadays, parents are too busy to concern their chidren that makes children today is not good.
Children behavior today becomes worse. This statement expresses through some facts and experiences that our society are worrying. Children is the future of country, so if children behavior is worse, they will also make country worse. If their parents take care of them fully, children will be protected from bad behavior below. It is definitely high time to pay attention to children behavior today.
